Mondrian Alpha have partnered with a top global hedge fund on a specialist mandate within their Fixed Income division, looking for an SME to cover multiple pods. This high-impact role operates within a cross-asset team but is dedicated to the firm's European Fixed Income business.
Responsibilities include:
- Performance analysis
- Risk assessment
- Delivering detailed commentary to a variety of senior stakeholders, including industry-leading portfolio managers
- Collaborating across multiple teams including quant and tech to develop tools, dashboards, and infrastructure for advanced quantitative analysis of their real-time trading platform
- Providing deep-dive quantitative analysis that they will interpret and report on, sharing views with appointed PMs
We're seeking technical candidates with deep Fixed Income expertise (7+ years experience) — many in the team come from structuring, strategy, risk, and trading backgrounds. Strong Python skills are essential for building models and frameworks alongside tech teams. Given the role’s visibility, exceptional communication skills are crucial.
