This Commercial Finance Business Partner will work closely with sales and marketing, delivering financial analysis, sales reporting, and managing budgets, forecasts, and taking full ownership of the sales & marketing P&Ls to support commercial decision-making. A fully qualified accountant who has a proven commercial-mindset, who is adept at working in a fast-paced environment at a company within the Retail/FMCG sector will excel in this position.

Client Details: My client is a High-Growth SME company within the FMCG Cosmetics industry, founded over a decade ago with the intention of solving consumer's problems while remaining cruelty-free. Known for their partnerships with celebrities and online social media presence, they have revenue exceeding $300mil and a growing team built on encouraging professional development.

Description:

  • Analyse financial performance and prepare forecasting models for senior stakeholders.
  • Become the primary business partner across Sales & Marketing.
  • Take ownership of the customer P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support the Financial Controller by producing timely reports.
  • Proactively identify areas for streamlining and optimising.
  • Support junior team members with producing reports.
  • Deliver insightful financial reports to drive business decisions.
  • Monitor financial trends within the FMCG industry.

Profile: The successful Commercial Finance Business Partner will be:

  • Qualified in Accountancy (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Highly commercial in their approach to work, with a track record working in similar roles.
  • From a company within the FMCG/Retail industry.
  • Competent in driving the business forward, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, varied position.
  • Proficient in FP&A, financial forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Excellent skills in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills.
