We're hiring a hands-on, proactive Warehouse Operative with forklift skills - but we're not looking for someone who just wants to sit on a forklift all day, this will involve manual handling also!
Our client works in the packaging industry and is growing! They are looking for a versatile all-rounder to support daily warehouse operations - someone who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Pick, pack, receive, and dispatch customer orders
- Manual handling and lifting the goods
- Operate forklift trucks (pivot steer experience a bonus but training available)
- Manage stock with accuracy and care
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organized
- Work closely with other teams to support customer satisfaction
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift license preferred (but we can train the right person)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail and reliability
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- UK driving license preferred
- £12.50-£13.50 per hour, based on experience
- Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (early finish 3pm on Fridays)
- Company pension
