Sims Automatics is offering an exciting opportunity to join our experienced Field Service Team as a Trainee Field Service Engineer. Whether you’re just starting out or ready for a new challenge, we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
  • Ideally residing in one of these postcode areas: DD, EH, FK, G, KA, KY, ML, PA
  • Experience with electrical or electronic equipment is a bonus, but not required
  • Qualifications in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous

About the Role:

  • Working as part of our established 14-person Field Service Team, you’ll be responsible for the repair and servicing of gaming, entertainment, and barware equipment at customer sites throughout Scotland.
  • Average 40 hours per week over an 8-week cycle
  • Includes alternative weekend shifts
  • Based from our Glasgow or Dunfermline depots
  • Company vehicle, tools, uniform, and full training provided

Benefits:

  • Starting salary of £28,500, rising to £31,000
  • Overtime opportunities and discretionary bonus scheme
