Join our team as a Kennels & Stables Operations Assistant and provide essential administrative and operational support to the Kennels & Stables Manager. You will assist in ensuring the smooth running of animal care, client services, and departmental logistics while adhering to internal procedures and welfare standards.

As a Kennels & Stables Operations Assistant, you will oversee administrative tasks, supervise maintenance and driving team members, and ensure that all operations are running smoothly. You will also manage records, payments, stock, and assist with promotional events and health and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise administration tasks for the kennels and stables.
  • Manage the maintenance and driving team members.
  • Maintain accurate paper and electronic records for animals, veterinary care, and operational activities.
  • Process payments, invoices, and petty cash.
  • Coordinate website and social media updates.
  • Handle enquiries and arrange meetings and appointments.
  • Support ordering of equipment and inventory management.
  • Organise vehicle servicing, MOTs, and repairs.
  • Assist in preparing and managing promotional events.
  • Maintain health and safety records and support compliance.
  • Coordinate re-homing, horse activities, and facility operations.
