We are working with our client with their search for an AVP Syndicated Agency Loans Facility Agent to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid position, 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH. This is a fantastic opportunity to move into a Middle Office role for someone with an all-encompassing Back Office Loans Admin experience.
The successful candidate, alongside the usual associated administrative processing for each deal, will be responsible for the additional lifecycle events driven by the facility documentation. They will also manage a section of the wider portfolio of complex Agency deals. As a transaction coordinator, end to end maintenance of the portfolio can include the tracking of financial and ESG covenants, security trustee responsibilities, collateral monitoring, borrowing base maintenance and front to back management of amendments and waivers.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):- Provide support and guidance in order to facilitate the completion of daily tasks in accordance with head office rules and regulations.
- Responsible for the accurate verification of fellow team members' work.
- Provide assistance, as requested, to line management in the control of daily workflows to ensure timely completion of daily obligations.
- Assist line management in the creation, review and maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure accuracy.
- Provide general support to facilitate the implementation of projects as and when necessary.
- Communicate and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders, including Front Office, Lenders, external legal counsel and Borrowers in order to administer events on a portfolio of loans.
- Act as first point of contact for issue resolution and escalation, using specialised knowledge to solve routine issues and answer queries, escalating any issues as required.
- Operate as product specialist providing subject matter expertise where required.
- Previous experience of working in a manual operations environment.
- Previous experience of Syndicated or Agency Loan Operations.
- Experience with facilitating calls and meetings with external legal counsel, Borrowers and Lenders.
- Strong computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with both LMA and LSTA loan documentation.
- Working knowledge of Debtdomain and LoanIQ.
- A level or equivalent education is essential; Bachelor's degree is preferable.
