This role is to provide a nursery facility within the College providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the setting.This is a great opportunity to work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn! You will be involved in creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere in which the children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally through individual attention and group activities.Key ResponsibilitiesWork as a member of the nursery team to ensure that high standards of care is providedPromote and create an educationally stimulating environment in accordance with Every Child Matters and Early Years Foundation Stage FrameworkTo take an interest in the children and their families, to treat them as individuals and with respect at all times. Ensuring the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures and medical historiesTo advise manager/deputy of any concernsTo provide support for any children with special educational needs and liaise with senior members of staff to promote their welfare and development As well as supporting all co-ordinatorsTo ensure good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.Skills & KnowledgeWe strive to be an inclusive employer and welcome applications from individuals who believe they can contribute effectively to this role.
