Role: Engineering Authority - Network Operations Centre Engineer

Location: Kirkintilloch, Scotland

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 6 months

Work Mode: Onsite 5 days

Must have BPSS. SC Eligible OR SC Cleared

Onsite Daily Monday - Friday (8.30-16.30)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Weekly reporting of Commissioned/onboard/adopted devices and sites
  • Escalation of Issues to the SPEN CSD team & relevant NMO for further investigation
  • Configuration and Network acceptance of deployed devices currently being deployed including 4G routers and LV Monitors
  • Asset management of devices utilising management tools for remote restoration and defect management
  • To drive continual network and device performance improvement through analysis of outputs and feedback from internal and external sources
  • Ensuring Network Telecom and Modern Device asset management is compliant with the Network & Information System Regulations

Desirable:

  • Worked in an NOC environment with knowledge of IP switching and routing.
