Stores Person

Our client is looking to recruit Store Persons FLT to join a friendly team within a well-established company. We are seeking motivated & driven candidates who want to learn new skills and gain new experiences to progress within their career.

Duties:

• To ensure goods are receipted quickly and accurately, highlighting any discrepancies
• To select customer orders and make available for dispatch
• To organise safe storage and transportation of goods, adhering to industry and company guidelines
• To assist with pre picking goods to feed the busy workshop facilities
• To monitor and control stock, trends and shortages to maximise productivity
• To ensure all packaging waste is disposed of in line with company policy
• To maintain a clean and safe working environment to health and safety standards

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

• Vehicle parts experience preferred, but not essential
• Manual handling of goods
• A good work ethic, capable of working alone or as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Computer literate
• A competent and licensed counterbalance forklift driver

All Training is Provided

Salary & Benefits – £25,000 – £29,000

· Salary to be negotiated dependant on experience.

· 21 days holiday, plus bank holidays- extending to 22 after 5 years’ service.
