People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in the Lutterworth area.

Rates of Pay:

  • Saturday: £19.00 per hour
  • Sunday: £19.50 per hour

Day to Day Duties:

  • Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not limited to:
  • Trunking depot to depot.
  • Supplier collections as required.
  • Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Essential Skills:

  • Hold a valid UK Category Class 1 / CE Driving Licence
  • Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving Class 1 / CE vehicles
  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
  • Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
  • Must be able to speak and read a good level of English

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial

Training:

  • Inducted on first shift
  • Industry related training provided along with ongoing support throughout
