The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
We are working with a medium-sized forwarder who is looking for an AOG Export Operator. Due to location, a car driver is needed. 4 of 4 off days, 7am-7pm.
Role involves:
- Handling AOG/Time sensitive shipments.
- Export shipments via air/road as per customer request.
- Collating all export documentation, HAWBs/MAWBs/customs/post flight/security procedures/routing of shipments/airline liaison/transport request and reporting/cross trade movements.
- Export documentation - to ensure AWBs are cut and completed in accordance with customers' instructions and rated correctly as per airline regulations.
- Customs - to ensure customs documentation is in accordance with suppliers' instructions including IPR/OPR/export licenses entries.
- Pre-alerts/Post flights.
- Quotations.
Experience needed:
- Some experience working on AOGs in a freight export department.
- 2 years air, road export experience.
- Aerospace, shipping aircraft parts.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Computer literate.
- Must be able to work under pressure & tight deadlines.
- Good timekeeping/attendance.
Software needed: Boxtop, MS Office, e-customs/CDS.
