SF Recruitment are working with a leading distribution business in Coventry to recruit a Continuous Improvement Team Leader. The role would suit someone with a team leader from a logistics/distribution background, or someone with prior CI experience in this field.
The CI Team Leader will support and lead tactical improvement activities across inventory and distribution operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving operational challenges, engaging teams, and ensuring best practices become standard practices.
Duties:
- Lead CI Initiatives: Coordinate and drive continuous improvement projects within the warehouse and distribution operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyse operational data to identify areas of waste, inefficiency, and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement CI Methodologies: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI tools to streamline processes and eliminate waste.

- Training and Coaching: Provide training sessions and on-the-floor coaching to team members on CI principles and practices.

- Support CI Manager: Assist the CI Manager in larger-scale projects and contribute to the strategic CI roadmap.
