People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join our well-established client based in Manchester, on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering an amazing annual salary and room to grow and progress.

Day to Day Duties:
- Supervise your Production team, ensuring that day-to-day responsibilities are completed in a timely manner and in line with performance targets related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People.
- Supervise the development of your Production team to strengthen and enhance our Production capabilities and flexibility.
- Supervise the attendance performance of the Production team members, utilising the company Absence Management procedures as necessary.
- Ensure the adherence to company quality standards and procedures, confirming production output to relevant specifications as required.
- Ensure the strict adherence to Standard Operating Instructions for all production activities, particularly in relation to Health & Safety and Quality.
- Supervise the execution of all Production plans, ensuring that work sequences and schedules are adhered to.
- Identify and address production issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions with urgency to maintain production performance.
- Support the introduction of new products and processes from a Production perspective.
Essential Skills:
- Significant Production and Operations management experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Significant experience in the utilisation of ERP systems, preferably IFS.
- Detailed knowledge of Production and Operations management methodologies.
- Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
