Due to our exceptional growth, we are expanding our office locations to include Dublin & Manchester to complement our Head Office which is in Northamptonshire.

A day in the life of a Manager at CBTax:

As an IT Support Associate, you’ll maintain the status of our network and WIFI performance, ensuring everything is running smoothly. You’ll also attend stand-up meetings with our CTO, to discuss the day’s priorities and any ongoing projects.

Your days will typically involve providing desktop support to team members and troubleshooting any software or hardware issues they might be facing.

Additionally, you will set up hardware for new starters, including configuring mailboxes, network access, and implementing necessary security protocols.

You will continue with any ongoing technical support tasks, assisting team members with various IT-related issues whilst monitoring ongoing security processes to ensure all systems are secure and up-to-date.

You might be required to work on ad-hoc projects as directed by our CTO, which could occasionally involve some travel to our sites across Manchester, Northampton and Dublin.

As your day progresses, you will review the day’s activities, ensuring all tasks are completed and preparing a brief report for the CTO.

This role is perfect for recent graduates looking to break into the IT sector and develop their skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment or someone with circa 1-3 years of experience looking to learn new skills and further develop their career., We are looking for a recent graduate eager to break into the IT sector or someone with up to 3 years of experience in a similar role.

You should be capable of learning the tasks outlined or have some experience in similar roles.

Strong organisational skills are essential, as well as the ability to manage your time effectively and prioritise your workload. Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach to problem-solving are also crucial.

The successful candidate will be confident in their abilities and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

You must be willing to travel occasionally on an ad hoc basis. Possessing a driving license is preferred but not essential.
