Belmont Recruitment are looking to speak with experienced recovery workers with experience working with opiates to work for a private charity in the BARNET area for 3/6+ months with the potential to lead into a permanent position. The key duties of this role will be carrying out assessments and creating support plans to highlight the service users needs and barriers preventing them from recovering. You will work in collaboration with GPs, partner organisation staff and other health and social care professionals to deliver a shared care service, alcohol service, providing specialist interventions including prescribing of opiate substitution therapy and access to detoxification. Furthermore, you will carry out both 1-1 and group work and to deliver outreach services including the supply of naloxone, Needle and Syringe Provision at a range of locations, offering a range of harm reduction interventions and advice. -This role is a full time position working 4 days on site and one day from home. -You will need an enhanced DBS. -The position will pay £18-£20 p/h. -The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9-5.
