We are recruiting for a leading name in Legionella compliance. They are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to cover contracts in the North West and Yorkshire. Access to the M1 and/or M62 would be beneficial for applicants. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a strong proficiency and history of working within the role previously. You will be covering contracts across: Stockport, Rochdale, Oldham, Bolton, Halifax, Leeds, Bradford, Batley, Dewsbury, Castleford, Wakefield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Mexborough, St Helens, Wigan, Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, Altrincham, Eccles, Manchester, Leigh, Bolton, Chorley, Blackburn, Preston, Blackpool, Southport, Formby, Bootle, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Northwich, Knutsford.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor within a Water Hygiene/Legionella company
- Must hold the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
- It would be beneficial to hold hands-on remedials/plumbing as well as Water Hygiene experience
- Excellent ACOP L8 and HSG 274 understanding
- Good written ability
- Strong IT literacy skills
- Professional manner when representing the company
The Role:
- Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems
- Writing detailed risk assessment reports to advise on highlighted risks as well as technical recommendations
- Creating schematic drawings to accompany reports
- Ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Meeting with clients on site to discuss findings and recommendations
- Travelling in line with company requirements
- Supporting training of new members of staff
- Working in line with industry compliance and safety guidelines
