Job Overview
We are working on behalf of our client in Thetford to recruit a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and a hands-on approach to warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload deliveries and containers safely and efficiently
- Inspect goods on arrival and report any damage or discrepancies
- Sort and store products accurately in the correct locations
- Assist with stock management and inventory checks
- Prepare orders for dispatch, including palletising and labelling
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks or forklifts (training can be provided if needed)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures and use PPE as required
- Support colleagues to meet daily operational targets
Candidate Requirements
- Previous warehouse or manual handling experience is preferred
- A valid FLT licence is desirable β Bendi/Flexi truck experience would be a bonus
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving goods throughout the shift
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Basic IT skills and familiarity with stock systems are advantageous
- Willingness to travel to the client's site in Reydon when required
