Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM Site Solutions are looking to recruit a Car Fleet Lead to oversee the company’s car fleet, ensuring vehicle movements are processed accurately providing an excellent service to our clients. This is a full-time role working on site at Wellingborough. BAM operates a flexible working policy, actively encouraging periods of remote home working and flexibility in start and finish hours to fit into an individual’s busy lifestyle. In addition to an attractive salary we offer a significant benefits package, contributory pension, BUPA, life assurance, 25 days holiday (increases with length of service), holiday purchase scheme, gym subsidy and BAM social club membership. Your mission • Ensure company car requirements are captured and processed efficiently. • Update the customer systems in real time to ensure accurate tracking of vehicle movements. • Ensure transactions are processed efficiently with customers kept updated on progress. • Assist with the resolution of customer queries and provide feedback on service level improvements identified. • Oversee the supply chain implants daily activities, ensuring excellent service levels are maintained. • Ensure levels of confidentiality are maintained, working with employees and HR teams. • Monitor the supply chain and provide feedback on performance against agreed SLA targets. • Ensure reporting and management level information on the company fleet is available. • Co-ordinate the scheduling, maintenance, and operation of the company’s fleet. • Understand and interpret the strategic direction of the Business Unit and align operational delivery to strategic intent within the depot teams. • Embed a culture of compliance to all UK & Ireland policies, targets, standards, and strategy in relation to safety, health, wellbeing, and sustainability. • Implement and deliver new opportunities within Site Solutions. • Embed new engagements and partnership approaches across industry, professional bodies, and trade associations as part of the business unit’s future outlook. • Actively promote and embed product innovation, expertise, and practice into the depots in conjunction with the Fleet & Transport Manager. • Accountable for maintaining the company car fleet ensuring excellent service levels. • Responsible for efficient processing of daily transactions and vehicle movements. • Ensure timely communication and response to customer queries. • Ensure customer systems are maintained in real time to maximise efficiency. • Report on company vehicle metrics and drive process improvements.
