The Transport Planner job involves:
Organise transport for internal stock movement
liaising with suppliers to ensure collections are scheduled in a timely manner
Drive proactive fleet maintenance schedule, improving fleet OEE
Booking 3rd party couriers, for both delivery and collection
Production of delivery/collection schedule for a rolling 5 days
Booking hotels adhoc for installation team
General administration – emails / phone calls / ticketing system

Are you an experienced Transport Planner looking to join a growing business with excellent length of tenure? We seeking an organised individual who can oversee the route planning for more than 20 vehicles. The Transport Planner will also be tasked with identifying opportunities to improve efficiency within the transportation process. We could potentially look at someone who needs training but has some transferability e.g. experience within a Coordinator or Fleet Administration position (or similar)., The Transport Planner job would suit:
Transportation Planning, Transport Modelling, and Transportation Management skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to analyse and optimize transport networks
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
C30,000 to £32,000 as a guide. Salary will be reflected depending on experience. A trainee will likely fall below this guide.
23 days holiday + bank holidays.
Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
