This Residential Property team in London is highly regarded for the work it does in Private Real Estate and is looking to recruit a Residential Property lawyer of 3 or more yearsβ PQE. The team provides high quality advice and service to private clients, trusts and family offices in connection with their real estate affairs. It works closely, where appropriate, with other specialists in the Firm, including in particular Private Client, Family and Commercial Real Estate lawyers to achieve that aim. They predominantly work in the residential, leasehold enfranchisement and rural property spheres.
The focus of this role will be to assist with a varied caseload of residential property work acting for HNW individuals, their companies, family offices and trusts. The role will be based in the London office and will cover all manner of residential property matters with particular focus on:
- High value freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Deeds of Variations of Leases
- Transfers of Equity
The successful candidate will have solid residential property sale and acquisition experience including familiarity with new build and off plan transactions as well as a strong grounding in leasehold enfranchisement and landlord and tenant. You will be confident in handling transactions effectively with experience of acting for domestic and international high net worth clients. You will also be committed to providing a high-quality client-focused service and able to demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, commercial acumen, technical expertise and be a real team player. A proven track record in business development and marketing is essential together with a proven track record in meeting fee and time targets. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
