Are you an Electrical Compliance Engineer or similar looking to take on a brand-new position with real autonomy overseeing all Electrical Engineering Compliance within a beautiful and diverse cultural institution, offering a progression pathway into Senior Leadership and an outstanding benefits package including 15% Pension and 41 Days Holiday? You'll act as a central point of contact for all in-house electrical compliance work across a large multi-building estate. From managing contractors to issuing permits and ensuring safe systems of work, this is a technical, process-driven position with a strong emphasis on documentation, procedural oversight and safety. The role is based primarily on-site at a central campus, with some flexibility across other locations as needed.

You'll be joining a large, well-established organisation with excellent support systems in place. With ongoing investment in training, high pension contributions, and around 40 days of annual leave (including closures at Easter and Christmas), this is a role that offers both stability and career progression. This is a structured, professional role with the backing of a major employer. You'll have the chance to work on a large estate, overseeing modern and legacy electrical systems, with every tool and process at your disposal. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as LV Duty Holder and support all compliance-based electrical procedures across the estate
  • Manage documentation, safety checks and contractor compliance in line with internal and legal standards
  • Issue permits to work and review RAMS and electrical risk assessments
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure safe delivery of works and maintain high standards across the site

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • Has demonstrable LV Duty Holder experience in a complex environment
  • Is confident managing contractors, safety documentation and compliance systems
  • Enjoys structured work with clear governance and technical standards
