Line Reporting Manager: Senior Transport Scheduler
Hours: 06:00am - 16:00pm 50-hour week
Principle Duties and Accountabilities:
- Drive and operate specialist CCTV underground pipe survey rig, working on private and public land in strict accordance with statutory health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Interpret survey results and prepare comprehensive condition reports to industry standards.
- Undertake basic H&S vehicle checks at the start and finish of each shift.
- Report all defects, accidents and near misses immediately to line manager.
- Ensure all jobs are correctly documented with work tickets submitted at the end of each shift.
- Maintain the drivers log book in compliance with MOT rules and procedures.
- Ensure the condition of all issued personal protective clothing and equipment remains fit for purpose, clean and free from defects.
- Keep the vehicle and equipment washed down on a weekly basis, free from rubbish.
- Undertake ad-hoc duties as and when your vehicle is off the road or you are required to assist other field teams in exceptional circumstances.
- Attend meetings, medical and training courses as required.
Health & Safety:
Section 7 of the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) states the general duties of employees at work. It shall be the duty of every employee while at work to:

CCTV Operative Health and Safety Responsibilities:
- To understand and comply with the company health and safety policy.
- To influence and promote a positive health, safety culture within the organisation and lead by example.
- To ensure all works activities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with legislative, company policies, procedures and the works RAMS.
- To carry out comprehensively and complete in full, all company required health and safety site documentation.
- To ensure the company health and safety documentation is read and understood on the tablets.
- Ensure VPRs are carried out and completed in full.
- DRAs are to be carried out for every job and updated where required.
- To report all health, safety and environmental incidents to the Line Manager within 2 hours of it happening.
Qualifications / Competency:
- Flexible with working hours (we can be very reactive at times and teams are expected to assist as much as they can).
- Must hold a Full UK 7.5ton Drivers License.
- Standpipe Usage Competency Training.
- Sonde Certificate.
- Must have the ability to take on responsibility of working within very controlled guidelines and environmental regulations.
- Able to deal with the public in a polite and friendly manner.
- Able to work with a minimum of supervision and to receive instructions remotely.
- Report into management when required and to complete work tickets, log books etc.
- Work consistently to high standards of health and safety.
