Assistant Commercial Accountant Crewe up to £30,000 Hybrid (up to three days in the office)

The Opportunity:

This is a rare opportunity for a Level 2/3 AAT qualified Accountant to step into an Assistant Commercial Accountant that gives you exposure to working in a true commercial role. One day you could be part of a bid management team assessing the financials and ensuring they are feasible for the business the next you could be delivering presentations to senior stakeholders in a board meeting. Alongside this, you will get full support to complete your AAT Level 4 qualification and direction into becoming a fully qualified Commercial Accountant.

Key responsibilities also include:

• Processing a range of customer pricing through quotes and bids and deal with ad hoc queries.

• Preparing reports and offering financial awareness.

• Requires level of autonomous problem solving, but with support available from the wider Finance team.

• Developing costing and pricing models to support Customer Facing and Internal requirements of the business

Candidate Essentials:

• For this position you must be Level 2 AAT qualified as a minimum

• The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer facing role and be strong at building internal and external relationships with stakeholders

• Experience using SAP and Excel to a high level (ie creating formulas) is also essential
