We’re looking for a Shopify Developer to join iakoe. We’re an agency that specialises in designing, building and optimising Shopify stores. We work with the most exciting design-led brands across the UK and US. We’re a tight knit team not taking ourselves too seriously, occasionally fighting fires together and doing work we’re really proud of. What Will You Be Doing? Working with the UX team to create unique, strong and innovative front-end user experiences for our clients Optimising site performance Owning ongoing site maintenance, expansion and scaling Cooperating with UX and marketing teams to gather and refine specification and requirements for development Ensuring a smooth connection with marketing tools, platform APIs and Shopify apps to optimise our client’s stores for overall efficiency and functionality Keeping abreast of emerging technologies / industry trends to enhance operations and activities Pushing A/B and multi-variate tests live and trouble shooting bugs Essential Requirements 4+ years experience in with the Shopify platform and liquid 4+ years experience of front end development using Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3 Extensive knowledge in web development, troubleshooting and bug fixing Strong background and knowledge of liquid templating engine Strong experience implementing / debugging third-party Shopify apps, as well as building unique solutions if needed Strong background in developing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile devices Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential What We Can Offer You Negotiable salary depending upon experience Full time remote work A collaborative culture where unconventional thinkers come together to solve digital problems
