SHOP FITTER / POS INSTALLER
WORKING VARIOUS DAYS/NIGHTS BETWEEN MONDAY – SUNDAY: 39 HOURS PER WEEK
£13.00 – £18.00 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently looking for POS Installers on behalf of our client based in Tewkesbury.
This represents a fantastic opportunity to work with an established client family-owned business, specializing in the installation of retail signage and display systems across the UK and also Europe.
Successful candidates will receive a starting hourly rate of around £13.00.
You will be required to work on various non-standard shift patterns, which can occasionally include nights out and also weekends.
You will receive enhanced rates of pay for the shift patterns, taking the hourly rate up to as much as £18.00, depending on experience.

Day to Day Duties
Duties of the POS Installer will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
- Install POS equipment as required by client
- Complete jobs individually or with a team of Fitters/Contractors
- Work from designs/diagrams provided and complete site surveys
- Complete relevant paperwork as required
- Load/unload products, ensuring they are secure and undamaged in transit
- Work away from home when necessary
Essential Skills
To be considered for this POS Installer role, applicants must have the following:
- Understanding of health and safety requirements and risks involved when completing national installations
- Ability to work will individually and as part of a team
- Understanding of technical diagrams and good hand-to-eye coordination
- Ability to liaise in a professional manner and represent the company when required
- Previous experience as a Fitter/Installer or similar role
- Full driving licence (with no more than three points)
- Valid CSCS card
Desirable Experience
To be considered for this role, the following are desirable but not essential:
- Previous experience driving a 3.5 tonne van
- Valid iPAF licence
- Current passport and comfortable travelling abroad
- Previous experience as a POS Fitter/Installer
Training
- Full training on company policies and procedures provided by the client
