Over the past three years, their dynamic team of 10 highly motivated professionals has successfully built a portfolio exceeding £100 million across 16 promising companies. With ambitious plans for growth, they aim to expand their portfolio to over £500 million by mid-2026.
As they scale their operations, they are seeking an analytically strong and commercially astute Financial Modeller to help shape and evaluate new opportunities. You will play a critical role in building robust models that support strategic investment decisions, long-term forecasting, and portfolio monitoring.

Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced Excel-based financial models
- Create scenario and sensitivity analysis to support business cases and valuations
- Interpret financial data to provide insight and strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, strategy, and operations
- Assist in due diligence, M&A analysis, and long-term forecasting
Requirements
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial functions, macros, and scenario tools
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- 1-3 years of experience in a financial modelling, accounting, or analyst role
- CFA Level I (or higher) or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- Experience with modelling in transaction services, FP&A, or investment analysis
- Exposure to financial modelling software or VBA
- Ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders
