Adtran has a thriving business within the UK & Ireland region and is seeking Account Managers/Sales Directors to support managing the current customer pipeline and identify growth areas through Alt Net consolidations and growth in demand for Optical Transport/Connectivity. Principal Tasks: Creation and communication of account sales strategy, including contribution to business plan. Establishing key customer relationships. Negotiation of contract and agreements, including upkeep of same, with customer and Adtran internal departments. Overall revenue and margin responsibility for the assigned accounts or channels. Communication, coordination and securing agreement of global strategy across regional teams within Adtran. Presentation and successful positioning of Adtran products and services. Enabling and pre-sales and post-sales support for the account. Implementing and controlling of the sales processes for the account including forecasting / Salesforce updates, customer service, tracking of overdue invoices, loan planning, monthly reporting, and quality programs. Supporting sales input to Product Line Management and Business development. Knowledge, skills and experience required: Ideally Technical Degree (physics, electrical engineering, telecoms or similar). Relevant experience to match role seniority. Able to thrive in collaborative, complex technical sales environment. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record in telecoms industry. Winning mentality, strong time management / organisational skills and solid work ethic. Good English skills (spoken and written). Excellent presentation and communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and team player. Self-starter with ability to act independently as required.
