Logistics Assistant Job In Bournemouth\\n\\nWe are proud to be working with a thriving client in the Bournemouth area. They are recruiting for a Logistics Assistant and the role will be a key member of the logistics team. The Logistics Assistant role will be responsible for the management of specific clients’ stock through the warehouse of the logistic provider.
The Logistics Assistant role also includes the management of the pricing process.\\n\\nSalary and Benefits:\\n\\n * A salary of £DOE\\n\\n * Working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours\\n\\n * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with increase of length of service\\n\\n * Learning and development opportunities available\\n\\n * Parking available\\n\\n * Employer pension contribution\\n\\n * Private Medical Insurance with BUPA\\n\\n * Register for gym membership with gym flex and spread the cost over 12 months\\n\\nDuties and Responsibilities:\\n\\n * To liaise with clients and the logistics provider with regards to required stock levels\\n\\n * To place purchase orders with manufacturers and clients\\n\\n * To reconcile POD’s to order/receipts\\n\\n * To Investigate and reconcile stock and order queries\\n\\n * To liaise with National Accounts and Marketing Managers over future stock requirements\\n\\n * To forward plan clients’ stock into the logistics provider’s warehouse to meet demand forecasts\\n\\n * To ensure that client’s stock is rotated correctly prior to delivery to customers\\n\\n * To oversee the price difference claims process\\n\\n * To communicate with relevant company sales teams over stock issues\\n\\n * To produce monthly stock reports for clients\\n\\n * To build strong relationships with clients and the logistics provider\\n\\nMinimum Skills and Experience Required:\\n\\n * A background within a demand planning/stock control function as part of a logistics team\\n\\n * The ability to the manage, order and reconcile a large portfolio of FMCG products across multiple suppliers/clients\\n\\n * Ability to analyse sales trend data in order to improve the forecasting and demand process\\n\\n * Ability to use Excel to an intermediate level in order to facilitate demand planning, sales data manipulation and manage pricing database requirements\\n\\nThis Logistics Assistant Job in Bournemouth would suit candidates from a product and stock background, and who have strong accuracy and organisational skills
