We are recruiting for a part-time 3 days role of Business Services Officer in our team(s) covering the Blackburn area. The working hours for this role is Wednesday 9am – 5pm, Thursday 9am- 5pm and Friday 9 am- 4.30pm.

Whilst this role is part of a team based from our office in Blackburn, your proximity to the office doesn’t always have to be a critical consideration. While office attendance is required to support operational needs.

As a Business Services Officer you will contribute to the effective and efficient management and progression of cases, providing administrative support to the local Family Court Advisers and Service Managers. Should you join us your tasks will include:

monitoring case progression

receiving referrals from the Court or Cafcass Intake Team

create / update / close cases within our case management system

sending letters and information packs to service users

identify any missing information and follow-up as required

receive and deal with telephone enquiries

meet and greet visitors, including service users

A relevant qualification in business administration (e.g. NVQ2), a willingness to work towards to a qualification and/or significant experience in a similar role
