Sales Advisor Location: Basingstoke (office based) Salary: £30,940 per year Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Are you a proactive and customer-focused sales or service professional looking for a long-term opportunity in a technical industry? Our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier within the UK signage industry, is offering a rewarding career opportunity within a supportive, high-performing environment.    Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Advisor to join their internal sales team. In this role, you’ll develop trusted relationships with customers, guide them through technical product options, and support the day-to-day growth of the business.    Key responsibilities include: Handling inbound enquiries via phone and email Advising customers on suitable product solutions Creating quotes and processing orders using a custom CRM system (Elysium) Following up on quotations and identifying upselling opportunities Making outbound calls to maintain and update customer records Assisting the wider team on collaborative projects What we’re looking for:    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in a busy, detail-driven environment. While no prior experience in signage is needed, a technical mindset is essential.    Ideal candidates will have: Previous experience in sales or customer service (B2B is a plus) Confidence communicating with customers over phone and email Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks Proficiency with basic computer systems A proactive, positive approach and willingness to learn What’s on offer:    From day one, the successful candidate will benefit from: A competitive salary of £30,940 per year Casual dress code Free on-site parking Company pension scheme In-depth training and support from an experienced team A stable, team-oriented work environment 20 days holiday + bank holiday's  Shift patterns: Monday = 09:00 – 18:00, Tuesday = 08:00 – 17:00, and this alternates every day on a two-week basis.
