Summary OXBO are working with a renewable energy IPP who are seeking a Commercial Director to join their C&I and private wire solar operations. This role has wide ranging responsibilities so is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in working across a diverse set of tasks. With an impressive pipeline of projects to manage at various stages of construction and development, this role will allow the successful candidate to fully immerse themselves across the project lifecycle from the get go. This is a home based role. Responsibilities: Develop and implement commercial strategies in the UK Solar PV C&I and private wire space Identify Solar PV and private wire C&I market opportunities and risks. Create business plans to achieve revenue and market share targets. Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Negotiating PPA contracts Lead negotiations for key contracts and partnerships. Explore new markets and diversification opportunities. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to boost revenue. Develop and manage budgets for commercial operations. Monitor financial performance and profitability. Assist with project delivery ensuring projects proceed and get delivered Lead, mentor, and manage the commercial team. Ensure training and professional development for team members. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards. Mitigate commercial risks through strategic decision-making. Requirements Knowledge of financial modelling Experience in contract management and review Proven ability of securing C&I contracts and selling proposals to prospects Proven experience working in the C&I solar space Eligibility to live and work in the UK
