This role forms part of a team of Management Accountants responsible for the delivery of the integrity of the General Ledgers, sub ledgers, Group reporting and Statutory Accounts. The Management Accounting team plays an important part in ensuring UK group compliance with financial internal controls.

The role is specifically required to assists the Group Financial Controller (GCF) and the Senior Management Accountant in examining current systems processes and procedures to review and implement technical financial accounting requirements, to identify areas for improvement, align processes across the business, and implement best practice and ways of working.

The role would suit someone with an analytical mindset, adept at interrogating systems and spreadsheets, and implementing improvements and refinements.

Main Duties:

This is a broad role, with responsibilities for delivering work of a consistently high quality under pressure to senior audiences. Led by the UK Group Financial Controller (GFC) and working with the Management Accountants, this role will be expected to support the overall team objectives and not constrain themselves to their allocated deliverables.

Qualified ACA or international equivalent

2 to 3 years post qualification experience in management and financial accounting.

Good working knowledge and application of IFRS (including awareness of more recent standards)
