Assembly Operative Several exciting positions have become available for full-time Assembly Operatives to join a friendly team based in Littleborough, nr Rochdale. The successful candidate will earn at least NMW of £12.21ph (April 25) up to £13.50 per hour depending on experience. Hours of work will be 39.5 hours per week on flexi-time. Role Requirements Previous experience of working within a factory/assembly, doing some electrical assembly/wiring, is essential while soldering experience would be an advantage. Fast learner. Able to work independently and organise their own workload. Show initiative in finding more lean/efficient ways to operate. Experience of working other machines, an advantage Willing to learn how to operate other machinery. Role Responsibilities Follow drawings, instructions and works orders. Use a variety of hand tools. Undertake manual handling duties to assemble devices and looms. Cutting, preparation and termination of various cables / connectors Use of specific cutting, stripping, crimping semi-automatic machines.
