Are you an HR Advisor who enjoys the dynamics of a family-owned business and thrives in a fast-paced environment? You will provide a professional and proactive HR service to all departments and employees. Responsible for assisting with the delivery of HR projects, partnering with key stakeholders and taking responsibility for supporting all generalist areas of the HR cycle; employee relations, absence management, learning & development, performance management, reward & benefits and HR reporting. Our client is on a journey of continuous improvement, and this role would ideally be suitable for someone who enjoys getting involved in projects, streamlining processes and coming up with new ways of working more effectively. Responsibilities of the HR Advisor role include: Advising on HR policies, procedures and best practice. When required, provide support with the creation or updating of policies and procedures. Develop effective working relationships with managers, key stakeholders and employees to enable the delivery of a first-class HR service. Respond to HR related queries as and when required Support with the improvement and delivery of the induction and onboarding process Taking responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of a structured absence management process. Work with managers to provide coaching to fully embed the new process into the business. Drive and deliver HR excellence by supporting with the collation of HR metrics (including but not limited to turnover, absence, employee relations, engagement, cost and performance management). Support managers throughout the disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance management process Support with all elements of Family Friendly leave, guiding employees and managers through the process Taking responsibility for various learning and development initiatives by identifying needs, coordinating sessions and supporting with the delivery of workshops where required What you will need for this HR Advisor position: CIPD Level 5 or above Experience of working within a HR function in an operational environment Up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of HR practice and concepts The ability to apply and interpret policies and procedures effectively; holds others accountable regardless of their own personal views or beliefs A well organised and efficient manner A creative thinker with the ability to challenge the norm and suggest ideas for improvement The ability to build relationships at all levels; not afraid to challenge others in the face of adversity A versatile and practical approach, able to provide solutions to problems Highly proficient in all MS Office packages and proven experience of operating HRIS software If this HR Advisor position sounds of interest, then forward your CV today to Cressida Courtney or follow the link and apply online Due to the volume of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond to every applicant individually.
