Assistant to Manager

A 500 acre, all grass extensive grazing operation, with 470 crossbred cows, split autumn and spring calving, flying herd and milked via a 24 x 48 parlour, is looking for a suitably experienced assistant to work closely with the farm manager on a day-to-day basis.

Duties, on this fully staffed unit, will include assisting the hands-on farm manager with all aspects of day-to-day operations, and to take full charge in the manager\’s absence; to include some milkings, general stock work, some yard tractor work, and feeding.

A 3-bedroom, fully expensed house, and a competitive salary, is on offer.
