Are you looking for a Monday to Friday role that offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact across multiple locations? If so, our Engineering Stores Leader position could be your next career move!

This is a multi-site role covering our manufacturing facilities in Stubbins (Bury), Skelmersdale, and Oakenholt, giving you the opportunity to lead and influence operations across a diverse and dynamic environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for setting and maintaining high operational standards across all three sites. You’ll manage warehouse operations, streamline internal customer service, and ensure consistency and excellence in stores management across the board.

What You Will Do

In this role, you’ll take ownership of:

  • Safety Leadership: Champion a culture of safety and lead by example.
  • System Management: Develop and maintain efficient systems for storing and distributing spare parts.
  • Supplier Relations: Build strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure the best balance of availability, quality, and cost.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and lead your team using Essity’s proven processes, driving performance and accountability.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and track KPIs to continuously improve operations.

Who You Are

  • Proven experience in obsolescence management.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in working capital reduction.
  • Technical expertise in warehouse operations and spare parts.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Knowledge of warehouse and racking safety standards.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly between the three UK sites.
