Optalis is the Adult Social Care delivery partner on behalf of Wokingham Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council. Optalis is owned and funded by the two councils - it is not a private provider or an employment agency.

Bluebell House is a characterful period property surrounded by crowds of bluebells and provides support to older people living with dementia, as well as nursing care for people aged 65 and over who are living with long term health conditions. Our team of nurses and healthcare assistants ensure that our residents get a person-centred approach to their care needs, whilst our activity coordinators help make the days enjoyable and fulfilling.

We are recruiting for an Activities Coordinator to support our residents on a full-time basis. Working hours are between 9am and 6pm and you will be required to work alternate weekends.

Experience isn’t required as full training is provided - what we are looking for is someone with infectious enthusiasm and a creative approach to inspire both residents and staff to get involved. As an Activities Coordinator, you’ll help create a stimulating environment that celebrates life through imaginative and fun activities that can suit every interest and ability. As part of this role, you will get to know our residents and their families to help tailor activities to maximise wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
