We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager for our clients Nursery based in Wandsworth. Small friendly team with excellent employee benefits.

Key objectives of this role:

  • Perform effective daily supervision of the setting in accordance with the requirements of company policy, Act 1989, Ofsted, local education authority and other relevant legislation.
  • Ensure all agreed company policies and procedures are adhered to in the nursery at all times.
  • Take responsibility for the security and well-being of all children within the nursery.
  • Responsible for ensuring all welfare requirements are conformed to.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the nursery and lead team to performing excellence.
  • Accountable for the success of the financial viability of the business.
  • Earn profits according to monthly and yearly business targets.
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery, encouraging good practice by the staff team with regard to individual and group work with children.
  • Develop excellent communications with parents/guardians, encouraging them to participate in their child’s progress and development.
  • Oversee child’s progress and report on achievements, looking for progression and continuity. Where appropriate, participate in a key worker system and take a special interest in a specified number of children.
