PlayWorker

We are looking for a fun, outgoing confident Playworker to join our before and afterschool team at Happy Hours situated at Picknalls first school Uttoxeter.

Hours are in between 7am-9am and 3:15pm-6pm.

Monday – Friday

Term time only.

This role requires a enhanced DBS check.

All additional training in first aid, safeguarding and short courses will be provided.

Playworker role would be to:

• Supervise and engage with children during playtime activities

• Create a safe and inclusive environment for children to play and learn

• Plan and organize age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities

• Assist with breakfast/snack time

• Monitor and address any behaviour issues or conflicts that may arise

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and equipment

• Communicate with parents or guardians.

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

£8.60 – £11.44 an hour – Permanent, Part-time, Full-time,
