We are currently seeking experienced Forklift Truck (FLT) Drivers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to transport materials and products within our facilities.
Must hold Counterbalance/ Reach FLT
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials and products safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Inspect forklifts before each use and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all paperwork and documentation related to forklift operations.
- Assist with inventory management by accurately recording inventory movements and conducting cycle counts.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse and storage areas.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a forklift truck operator, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Valid forklift operator certification/licence.
- Strong knowledge of forklift safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to operate different types of forklifts, including counterbalance and reach trucks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
