This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading independent financial advisory and investment house. Our client specialises in renewable energy and energy transition technologies. This is a fantastic opportunity to support this growing and dynamic team; you will learn, work hard, and be paid for it!
The Associate duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Building and leading advanced financial models (DCF, LBO, M&A, project finance), ensuring accuracy and commercial relevance.
- Performing valuation and scenario analysis to support strategic advice and deal execution.
- Reviewing and enhancing models prepared by junior team members, ensuring consistency with best practices.
- Translating financial outputs into clear, actionable insights for client presentations and internal decision-making.
- Preparing high-quality client materials, including pitch books, investment memoranda, and board presentations.
- Coordinating due diligence and managing key workstreams across live transactions.
- Supporting origination through market analysis, tailored pitches, and relationship development in the renewable energy sector.
The successful Associate will have:
- Strong interest in investment banking with solid understanding of renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Proven transaction experience from investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or relevant industry roles.
- Thrives under pressure in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
- Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders with clear, confident communication.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong ownership of work.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills; excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages preferred.
