Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for HVAC systems and a knack for diagnosing and fixing technical problems? We are looking for a Chiller Service & Install Engineer to join our dynamic and experienced engineering team.

You will be joining a specialist HVAC business with a century-long legacy across the UK & Ireland. With roots in HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, and catering equipment, we deliver smart, energy-efficient rental solutions for clients in sectors ranging from commercial and construction to pharmaceutical and education.

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of a diverse range of cooling equipment including hire chillers, portable split units, and AHUs both in the field and in our warehouse. You will manage jobs from start to finish, work closely with our customer support team, and play a key role in maintaining the high standards our clients rely on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install HVAC hire equipment on-site to high standards
  • Service and repair units both on client sites and in-house
  • Respond to breakdowns and assist in the on-call rota
  • Prepare equipment for hire, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Train other staff on chiller servicing and cooling systems
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in line with SOPs and company systems
  • Maintain accurate records using company systems

Essential:

  • FGAS certified
  • Strong electrical knowledge ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot faults
  • Self-motivated, solutions-driven, and able to work independently

Desirable:

  • OFTEC qualification
  • Forklift licence
  • Computer literacy
