Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal looking for a new challenge? Do you want to join a busy firm based in Edinburgh City Centre? Are you eager to grow and develop your skills and knowledge working with an established team?

We are eager to speak to experienced Paralegals, who have a proven track record within the Residential Conveyancing market in Edinburgh. Ideally, you will have strong experience and knowledge within the Edinburgh market, with the ability to manage your own caseload, whilst collaborating and supporting the wider team daily. You will be joining an established firm, who are experts in this field, servicing new and existing clients daily.

For this role you must be a motivated individual, who can manage their time and diary effectively to meet both client and business requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and high-performing team in Edinburgh, within a busy, growing firm!

This is a full-time, permanent role, working core business hours Monday – Friday. This role will follow a hybrid approach and offer a salary between Β£35,000 – 42,000 depending on skills and experience.

  • You have knowledge of the Edinburgh market
  • You can manage your own caseload effectively, meeting all targets and requirements

What is the day to day like?

  • Acting on behalf of clients who are purchasing their new home, as well as acting in the sale of their current property where required
  • Taking client instructions in a timely manner, ensuring progression of missives within required timescales
  • Attending all internal and external meetings
  • Ensuring all client files are kept up to date and are accurate at all times, saving correspondence and documents when required
  • Maintaining regular contact with clients, house builders, and agents, sending weekly reports where required
  • Drafting legal documents and reporting on title to clients
  • Handling all aspects of the conveyancing process in purchases, sales and re-mortgages when required
  • Dealing with post settlement work when required
  • Working well individually and within a wider team environment, ensuring high quality service is provided
  • Ensuring all set targets and timescales are met daily
