Experience Required:
- At least 2 years experience of lighting or a related discipline in a Sales/sales engineer role.
- Able to demonstrate a proven track record in effectively managing a sales area and key accounts to achieve profitable growth within a lighting role.
- Able to carry out lighting designs and design briefs for Interior & Exterior lighting projects.
- Good understanding of lighting markets and the benefits of LED.
- Demonstrates a developed commercial awareness.
- Demonstrates a good level of lighting and electrical knowledge.
- Good relationship building, account management and networking skills.
- Competency in emergency lighting design desirable but not essential.
- Competency working with lighting design software i.e. Relux, Dialux, Autocad etc.
- Basic LIA lighting design certificate preferred.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Major Duties within Job Role:
- Develop and implement account plans for key customers working alongside internal sales and branch manager.
- Dual internal/external role developing new business.
- Proactively approach existing, new and dormant accounts to build and maintain a mix of key account types end-users and electrical contractors within an agreed area.
- Prepare lighting designs, quotations and presentation materials as required for all key customers working from our Bristol Office.
- Provide high levels of customer service to all key customers.
- Required to travel around the Bristol region in line with business needs.
- Adhere to company commercial strategy.
- Great scope for role to progress into management opportunities.
