Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA

Location: Lutterworth

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: GBP90 – GBP120 per day

About the Role

TeacherActive is working with a SEND school in Lutterworth to recruit a SEND Learning Support Assistant / LSA. The school focuses on pupil development, aiming to make progress academically and in emotional, social, and behavioural skills.

We seek a passionate team player for a short-term role, with potential for long-term placement for the right candidate. The successful SEND LSA will bring new skills, be eager to develop professionally, and positively impact the school community.

Responsibilities

The role involves working with students across all Key Stages with diagnoses including Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviours. A proactive and confident approach is essential.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working with children with additional needs/disabilities
• Experience with SEMH and challenging behaviours
• Level 2 or 3 CACHE qualification or equivalent
• Desirable: Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications
