Your new role: Reporting to the Commercial Director and working closely with the Operational Team, you will be responsible for the cost delivery, procurement, and management of a variety of projects as well as providing regular updates on the performance of ongoing projects valuing up to £10 million.
As the project commercial lead Quantity Surveyor, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out the day-to-day administration of the commercial and financial aspects of projects
- Close liaison with the Project Management Team(s)
- Aiding in bid submissions
- Preparing Cost and Value reporting
- Preparing commercial performance reports
- Managing procurement including labour, plant, materials, and subcontract
- Contributing to monthly board reports via the Commercial Director
- Cost control and deep dive into project spends
- Subcontract management enquiries/procurement and liaison
