Your new role: Reporting to the Commercial Director and working closely with the Operational Team, you will be responsible for the cost delivery, procurement, and management of a variety of projects as well as providing regular updates on the performance of ongoing projects valuing up to £10 million.

As the project commercial lead Quantity Surveyor, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out the day-to-day administration of the commercial and financial aspects of projects
  • Close liaison with the Project Management Team(s)
  • Aiding in bid submissions
  • Preparing Cost and Value reporting
  • Preparing commercial performance reports
  • Managing procurement including labour, plant, materials, and subcontract
  • Contributing to monthly board reports via the Commercial Director
  • Cost control and deep dive into project spends
  • Subcontract management enquiries/procurement and liaison
