Operations Manager – PFI schools – Peterborough
Salary: c£50k – £55k plus car allowance.
We are looking for an Operations Manager with PFI contracts experience to oversee TFM across three secondary schools in Peterborough. The contract is 13 years old with 17 years left; the schools hold a lifecycle fund and are currently spending £1.2m a year, managed via a central lifecycle projects team.
Reporting line: this role will manage a Hard services manager, Soft services manager, Compliance manager and 12 caretakers.
Required skills and experience:
- Experience with PFI contracts and lifecycle fund management.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Positive, proactive management style with good contract knowledge.
- Leadership and people‑management experience.
Succession plan in place for promotion over the next couple of years for the right person.
