This role ensures that all aspects of a logistics department are coordinated to meet customer demands effectively and efficiently. Achieving organizational goals through the timely and budget-friendly transportation of incoming and outbound goods.

Duties will include:

  • Planning and monitoring inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies.
  • Negotiating and securing transportation rates.
  • Ensuring warehouse, transportation, and customer services work in unity and meet their commitments.
  • Tracking and resolving any shipping errors.
  • Preparing and maintaining detailed logistics documentation and reporting them to the Head of Supply Chain.
  • Implementing new projects and strategies to improve logistical efficiency.
  • Complying with all company, local and government transportation regulations.

Your Profile:

  • Educated to A level standard min GCSE English and Mathematics A-C.
  • Experience in a similar role of logistics, warehousing, or transportation operations.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Able to prioritise work.
  • Training ability.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to take ownership of tasks.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills.
