A Multi Coded Welder who is qualified in MIG / Flux and TIG welding processes to 6G, with proven experience in coded welding of mild steel materials to exact specifications, is required for a well-established, precision engineering company based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
SALARY: £20.09 per hour + Overtime + Benefits
BENEFITS: 23 days annual holiday allowance plus Bank Holidays, birthday leave, wellbeing day, excellent overtime rates, contributory pension scheme, life assurance, occupational health screening

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a time served Multi Coded Welder who is qualified in MIG and TIG welding processes to 6G, with proven experience in coded welding of mild steel materials to exact specifications. As the Multi Coded Welder you will be required to work from engineering drawings with precision. You will have great attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Multi Coded Welder will be required to set up welding equipment, conduct pre-weld inspections to ensure materials are clean, free of defects and meet specifications, and operate welding machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to achieve desired results.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in coded welding of mild steel
- Qualified in MIG / Flux and TIG process to 6G is essential
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering fabrication drawings, blueprints and welding symbols
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and welding equipment operation
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Highly motivated, flexible, responsive to change and calm under pressure
- Proactive, methodical and communicative whilst working in a fast-paced working environment
