Reception Teacher: Lambeth (SEN school) Are you passionate about SEN teaching? An outstanding OFSTED-rated SEN school in Lambeth is looking for a dedicated Reception Teacher to join their EYFS team this summer term. The Role As a Reception Teacher, you\’ll work in a small class of reception-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). You\’ll deliver a play-based EYFS curriculum, implement Attention Autism strategies, and develop individualised learning plans that promote engagement, independence, and social skills. You will lead two teaching assistants in a well-resourced classroom. About the School Located in Lambeth, the school caters to pupils aged 4-19 with severe learning difficulties. It offers excellent indoor and outdoor learning environments tailored to promote life skills and independence. Key Responsibilities of the reception teacher Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons based on EYFS and Attention Autism. Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to individual needs. Collaborate with therapists and other professionals. Communicate effectively with parents and carers. Lead your classroom support team.
